Weekly Race / Casual Paddling Schedule 2010
Wednesday Evenings at 7:00pm - Sprint Race Night.
Thursday Night at 7:00pm - Casual paddling night.

Race points are based on the following formula:

Points will be based on # of boats in race, where you placed, and your age. Paddlers 16 and over will earn 1 point plus 1 extra point for each canoe their canoe beat, e.g., if your canoe comes in 2nd out of 8 canoes, you will earn 7 points (1 point + 6 points). Paddlers under 16 will earn 1 ½ times an adult’s points (rounded to the nearest full point) if they had a partner 16 or over. Paddlers under 16 will earn 2 times an adult’s point, if they had a partner under 16. Adults who paddle with a youth under 16 will earn one extra point. Solo paddlers 16 and over will earn 1 ½ times their regular points. Solo paddlers under 16 will earn 3 times their regular points.

    Course: Out from off the end of the main houseboat dock, then clockwise around white channel buoy, then counterclockwise around the big island, then home to the houseboat dock.
