Whitewater Festival 2009
>>>

As the Churchhill River flows southeast from Hayman Lake, several islands obstruct its course and divide it into various channels.  Though they run only a few kilometers before opening into Devil Lake, these channels boast a vertical drop of 12 meters. The resulting falls and rapids produce some of the best whitewater canoeing in North America.   Canoeing the Churchill, Greg Marchildon & Sid Robinson
